The biodiesel plant and soybean crush facilities are located in Scribner, NE on 2.5 acres of ground. Crude oil from the soybean processing facility is used in the production of biodiesel. The biodiesel plant has the capability to produce five million gallons of biodiesel per year. Glycerin will be produced as a co-product with biodiesel and will not be a significant income stream for the plant.
NNB’s crushing capacity is 1500 bushels of soybeans per day with an output of 30 tons of soybean meal, NNB-Soyboost High Protein Meal and 1500 gallons of soybean oil. We look to expand on these numbers in the future.
NNB has 10 fulltime employees. Approximately half commute from area towns of Fremont, West Point, Lyons, Clarkson and Arlington, with approximately half living in and around Scribner. |
